About the National Rapporteur

Diahann Gordon Harrison, National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Persons
Mrs. Diahann Gordon Harrison is an Attorney-at-Law by profession who strives for professionalism at all times and believes that in all situations people should give of their all. She is a Specialized Justice Expert in Public International Law (Geneva) and a (Global) Executive Councillor-Elect for ISPCAN (International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect).
She brings this work ethic to her post as the National Rapporteur, a role to which she was appointed in 2015. Before assuming this role, Mrs. Gordon Harrison served as a Deputy Director of Director of Public Prosecutions within the Office of The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
Mrs. Gordon Harrison also serves as the Children’s Advocate of Jamaica. Throughout Mrs. Gordon Harrison’s professional life, she has championed the cause of others, seeking to preserve their entitlements through her advocacy.
